Sangiovese Grosso

"The 2007 Sangiovese Grosso is made entirely from the VCR-6 clone sourced from Ciel du Cheval vineyard in the Red Mountain region in Washington. This clone is the same used in the celebrated Brunello di Montalcino wines from Italy. Less than four acres of VCR-6 were put in exclusively for Cana’s Feast in 2002 at Ciel du Cheval, and they are the first certified plantings of this clone in the United States." - Winemaker notes
