“Eyrie doesn’t make a lot of Pinot blanc, so buy it when you find it and indulge in its lean, intense mineral and light pear flavors.” - Food & Wine Wine Guide 2007

“Bright yellow-gold. Intense, mineral-dominated bouquet shows dried pear, peach pit, quinine and green almond. Dry and firm on entry, then quickly fleshes out, offering ripe orchard fruit and Meyer lemon flavors and a late note of musky yellow plum. A dry, solid and very grown-up wine with excellent finishing grip and no excess sweetness. Reminds me of some of the old-wave Italian white wines that sell for up to $100 per bottle, but this is more
vivacious.” - Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer’s International
